How to Start On-Chain Analysis for Beginners (Without Getting Lost)

H

Every day I tell people: “Learn on-chain analysis.”

But let’s be honest most don’t even know where to start.

I’ve been guilty of this too.
Telling people: “Start on-chain analysis.”

But not actually explaining where to start.

1. Start with Nansen Academy

@nansen_ai is the most practical place to start.
https://academy.nansen.ai

It teaches you how to read wallets, follow Smart Money flows, and interpret on-chain behavior the right way.

Go through the Smart Money 101 and Token God Mode lessons first.

Those two alone will save you months of confusion.

2. Follow People Who Do It Daily

You’ll learn faster by watching real analysts in action.
Here are two worth your time:

  • @GH2012Telefe — Breaks down trades, a master of narrative + data.
  • @cryptorinweb3 — Combines Smart Money tracking with price action context.

3. Practice Makes Perfect

Pick one token that’s trending.
Open its Nansen Token God Mode page.

Ask three questions:

  • Who’s buying?
  • Who’s selling?
  • Are Smart Money wallets accumulating or exiting?

Then build your thesis from that and not word from the streets of Twitter.
